This activity trail turns a visit to the exhibition into a voyage of discovery. Animals and nature are common themes in Märta Måås-Fjetterström's rugs. Now it's a matter of finding the animals in the exhibition!
Märta Måås-Fjetterström was one of the 20th century's most successful textile artists, and her works are on show in a major exhibition in the Hall of State at the Royal Palace. Her rugs are like works of art, and she created more than 700 patterns.
A map is available from the ticket desk, and will turn the exhibition into a fun activity for children. The animals on the map can be found on the rugs, and the aim is to find them.
Children can carry out the task by themselves during the exhibition's ordinary opening hours. The activity is suitable for all ages.
